Announcer:"You've all heard of mind readers, and palm readers; tonight I want to introduce The Amazing _________, The only shoe reader known of!"

Fortune teller: "Thank you. To demonstrate my powers, I will need a volunteer from the audience." (choose a volunteer and introduce him/her to the group.) "We've never met before, have we?" "Will you please take off your shoe so I may meditate on the future in store for you" (meditate) "Very soon you will be going on a long journey." (Throw shoe- but be sure it doesn't end up lost. May want another scout in the area of toss to help volunteer recover shoe.)
